통일교육의 정의, 목표, 이념에 대한 평가와 발전방안
이 논문은 우리나라 통일교육이 시대 상황의 변화에 관계없이 일관 성과 보편성을 지니기 위해서 통일교육의 정의, 목표, 이념을 평가하고 올바른 방향을 재정립하기 위한 발전방안을 제시하는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 먼저 통일교육의 법적 근거를 살펴보고, 지금까지 통일교육 이 시대 상황의 변화에 따라 어떻게 바뀌었는지를 탐색한다. 그리고 현재의 통일교육 정의, 목표, 이념이 일관성과 보편성을 충족하는 것인지를 평가하고, 바람직한 통일교육의 방향을 재정립하기 위한 새로운 접근법으로서 게오르그 린트(G. Lind) 교수가 개발한 도적적판단역량 검사도구(MCT: Moral Competence Test)의 활용 가능성을 탐색한다. 그리고 이러한 MCT를 활용하여 보다 객관적이고 과학적인 통일교육 의 정의, 목표, 이념을 재정립하기 위한 발전방안을 제시한다. 아울러, 통일교육의 정의, 목표, 이념이 일관성과 보편성을 지속적으로 유지하 기 위해서는 법적·제도적 지원이 중요함을 강조하였다.
Evaluating Definition, Goals and Ideology for Unification Education in Korea and Suggesting Revised Solution
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the definition, goals, and ideology of unification education in Korea and to suggest new development measures in order to ensure that unification education in Korea has consistency and universality regardless of changes in the times. To this end, we first look at the legal basis for unification education and explore how unification education has changed according to changes over time. In addition, we reevaluate whether the current unification education definition, goals, and ideology meet consistency and universality, and explore the possibility of using MCT(Moral Competence Test) developed by Professor Georg Lindt as a new approach for the development of desirable unification education. Using the MCT, a development measures were presented to re-establish the definition, goals, and ideology of unification education in a more objective and scientific manner. In addition, it was emphasized that legal and institutional support is important in order to continue to maintain the consistency and universality of the definition, goals, and ideology of unification education.
