도덕과의 기후변화교육에서 생성형 인공지능의 활용 가능성 탐색 - 기후소설 쓰기를 통한 상상력 회복을 중심으로 -
현대 기후 내러티브에서 인공지능은 탄소배출량이라는 물리적 변인 의 통제 수단 정도로 취급되는 경향이 있다. 그러나 기후변화 대응 도 구로서 인공지능이 갖는 가능성은 탄소배출 절감에만 국한되지 않는 다. 최근 각광받는 생성형 인공지능은 기후변화가 촉발하는 위험의 심 각성과 서로 다른 형태의 삶의 가능성을 상상하도록 이끄는 상상력 회 복의 도구일 수 있다. 본 연구는 기후변화 대응 도구로서 인공지능이 갖는 가능성을 다양한 측면에서 고찰하고, 그 고찰이 도덕과의 기후변 화교육에 주는 시사를 밝히는 데 목적을 둔다. 챗지피티, 빙챗 등의 생 성형 인공지능은 기후위기를 주제로 하는 픽션, 즉 기후소설의 소재와 설정, 주요 에피소드 등을 탐색하는 데 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 도덕과는 상상력 회복을 위한 기후변화교육의 방안으로 생성형 인공지능 과의 협업을 통한 기후소설 쓰기 활동에 주목할 필요가 있다.
Exploring the Potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence for Climate Change Education in Moral Subject Education - Focusing on the Recovery of Imagination through Climate Fiction Writing -
The purpose of this study is to explore the potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for climate change education in moral subject education. In contemporary climate narratives, AI tends to be treated as a means to achieve carbon neutrality. However, to ensure the soundness of the climate narratives, the potential of AI needs to be examined not only from an engineering perspective but also from a non-engineering perspective of ‘the recovery of imagination’. ChatGPT and BingChat can be used to explore the material, settings, and major episodes of climate fiction. Moral subject education should pay attention to climate fiction writing activities in collaboration with generative AI to restore students’ imagination.
