한국 다문화사회 연착륙을 위한 시론 - 상호문화역량을 중심으로 -
이 연구는 상호문화주의의 필수요소인 상호문화역량이 한국 다문화 사회의 연착륙에 기여할 수 있는지를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 21세기에 이르러 유럽에서는 다문화주의 실패론이 확산되면서 이를 대체할 수 있는 패러다임으로 상호문화주의가 주목받기 시작했다. 한국에서도 다 문화사회로의 이행과정에서 갈등과 정책부작용 등의 문제가 드러나면 서 상호문화주의 도입의 필요성이 제기되어왔다. 따라서 대한민국이 보다 안정적이고 조화로운 사회로 나아가기 위해서는 상호문화역량의 의미와 실효성 등을 심도 있게 검토하고, 의식적 차원과 사회구조적 차원 등을 함께 고려하여 구체적인 실현 방안을 모색해야 한다.
A Study for the Soft Landing of Multicultural Society in Korea - Focusing on intercultural competencies -
This study aims to verify whether intercultural competences, an essential element of interculturalism, can contribute to the soft landing of Korean multicultural society. In the 21st century, as the theory of multiculturalism failure spread in Europe, interculturalism began to draw attention as a paradigm that could replace it. In Korea, problems such as conflict and policy side effects have been revealed in the process of transition to a multicultural society, raising the need to introduce interculturalism. Therefore, in order for Korea to move toward a more stable and harmonious society, it is necessary to in-depth review the validity and effectiveness of intercultural competence and seek specific action measures by considering the conscious and social structural dimensions.
