The relationship between human consciousness and the body is reciprocal. Humans acquire and learn attitudes towards life through their body and consciousness. In moral education, which aims at the moral development of elementary students, the body should be a central part of the learning content. However, the lack of basic direction in body education, along with the limitations of operating the curriculum as an independent subject, are challenges faced by moral education in school. Therefore, we aim to research the direction of moral education regarding food, which is directly or indirectly connected to our body. To this end, we analyzed research trends from previously published food-related journal articles collected by KCI using a somatic network. The analysis method was somatic network analysis focusing on key words such as food, morality, and school education. The analysis yielded the following results. First of all, it is keywords related to dietary habits, nutrition, and school meals that were central, while keywords related to food and few moral keywords were found. Second, studies related to food and morals were also related to partial phenomena such as obesity and eating habits. Therefore, for moral education in school, there is a need to restructure the direction and content of education regarding body and food.
