파스칼의『팡세』에 나타난 기독교 윤리 재구성
본 연구는 파스칼의『팡세』(Pensées)에 나타난 기독교 윤리 관련 내용을 조직신학의 구성체계에 근거하여 범주화함으로써 파스칼의 기 독교 윤리를 재구성하는 것을 목적으로 한다. ‘계시와 인식’의 측면에 서 볼 때, 파스칼은 특별계시인 성경과 그리스도를 중심으로 인간과 윤리의 문제를 파악한다. 특히 파스칼의 심정의 질서와 논리는 셀러의 현상학적 가치윤리학의 중요한 명제이다. 조직신학의 ‘구성원리’(삼위 일체론)의 측면에서 볼 때, 성부에 대한 언급은 미흡하나 성자와 성령 의 위상과 사역은 각각 기독론 및 교회론의 맥락에서 풍부하게 다뤄지 고 있다. 조직신학의 ‘각론’의 측면에서 볼 때, ‘인간론’이 가장 풍부하게 다뤄지고 있는데, 파스칼의 인간론은 생철학 및 실존주의 윤리사상 과 내면적 상관성을 지니고 있다. ‘구원론’과 관련하여 파스칼은 그리 스도의 성육신을 통해 주어진 은총이 인간 구원의 핵심이라 보았다. ‘교회론’과 관련하여 파스칼은 이상적 윤리 공동체로서 ‘기독교 공화국’ 을 제안하고, 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑의 법을 강조하되, 정치적 현실 주의의 태도를 지닌다. ‘종말론’과 관련하여 파스칼은 신의 심판과 영혼불멸에 대한 사유실험을 통해 삶의 태도를 결단하는데 유의미한 계기를 마련한다.
Christian Ethics in Pascal’s Pensées
This study aims to reconstruct Christian ethics in Pascal’s Pensées by outline of systematic theology. Regarding ‘revelation and recognition’, Pascal tries to grasp the problems of humans and ethics by the Bible and Christ. Particularly Pascal’s order and logic of the heart plays an important role in M. Scheler’s phenomenological ethics. Regarding ‘composition principle’(trinity) of systematic theology, the mention of the Father is insufficient, but the status and ministry of the Son and the Holy Spirit are abundant: the former is treated in the context of Christology, the latter ecclesiology. Among the particulars of systematic theology, ‘anthropology’ is most abundantly handled. Pascal’s ‘anthropology’ has an interrelation with life-philosophy and existentialist ethics. Regarding soteriology, Pascal regards the grace given through Christ’s incarnation as the core of salvation. Regarding ecclesiology, Pascal, carrying an attitude of political realism, proposes a Christian republic as an ideal ethical community emphasizing love’s law. Regarding eschatology, Pascal looks upon the judgment of God and the immortality of the soul as providing a meaningful opportunity in determining the attitude of life.
