생명윤리의 새로운 길 : ‘부모-되기’교육론 제안 - 장자莊子의‘위일爲一’을 중심으로 -
생명윤리학이 생명의료공학의 윤리적 검토에서 시작되다보니 오늘날 생명윤리에 대한 연구는 생명의료윤리 분야에 집중되어 있다. 생명경 시가 사회 전반적인 문제가 되고 있는 상황에서 생명의 가치를 깨우치 는 생명교육은 절실히 요구된다. 가정과 사회 차원에서 생명교육이 제 대로 이루어지기 위해서는 생명윤리 담론의 범위가 확대되고 그 교육 방법에 대해서도 다양한 방법이 모색되어야 한다. 본고에서는 장자의 생명사상을 바탕으로 생명의 의미를 살펴보고, 장자의 ‘위일爲一[하나- 되기]’의 개념과 원리를 변용하여 ‘부모-되기’ 교육론을 제안한다. ‘하 나-되기’는 ‘무기無己’의 이치를 깨달음으로써 스스로 생명이 되는 과 정이다. 또한 인식의 깨어남을 거쳐서 ‘몸’의 깨어남에 이르는, 인식과 행위가 일치되는 사태이기도 하다. ‘부모-되기’는 생명이면서 생명을 기르는 부모를 내세워, 보다 직관적이고 현대적으로 변용한 교육론이 다. 그 세부단계는 생명의 의미를 깨닫는 ‘부모-알기’, 존재의 본질과 대면하며 본연의 생명을 발견하는 ‘부모-보기’, 생명으로서의 삶을 사 는 ‘부모-되기’로 이루어진다. 교육대상은 주로 교사와 학부모, 예비부 모를 설정했다. ‘부모-되기’교육은 교육자가 먼저 참된 생명이 되어야하는 실천교육이기 때문이다. 생명교육은 교육자의 삶 자체가 교재가 될 때 온전히 이루어질 수 있다.
A New Path to Bioethics: Proposal of Educational Theory of “Becoming-Parents” - Focusing on the ‘becoming one(爲一)’ of Zhuang-tzu -
In a situation in which disregard for lives becomes an overall social problem, education in bioethics that arouses the value of life is urgently required. In this study, the meaning of life is reviewed based on the philosophy of Zhuang-tzu, and the educational theory of ‘Becoming-parents’ is presented through the transformation of Zhuang-tzu’s ‘becoming one (爲一)’ principle. The concept ‘becoming-one’ is the process that one becomes a life by oneself by realizing the logic of ‘No subject (無己)’. In addition, it is a condition that the recognition and act become consistent through the awakening of recognition to the awakening of ‘body’. ‘Becoming-parent’ is an educational theory that is transformed more intuitively and modernly, as a life and a parent that raises the life. The detailed steps are ‘Knowing-parents’ of realizing the meaning of life, ‘Viewing-parents’ of discovering the original life by confronting the essence of existence, and ‘Becoming-parent’ of living as a life. The objects of education are teachers, parents and pre-parents. The education in bioethics can be fully accomplished when the educator’s life itself becomes a textbook.
