「고전과 윤리」의 교수-학습 방향성 제언 - 수용자 중심의 고전읽기 방법과 고전텍스트의 재구성 -
본 연구의 목적은 ‘고전 교육’을 실시한 대학들의 사례와 국어과의 「고전」교과의 사례를 타산지석으로 삼아 「고전과 윤리」가 나아갈 교수-학습 방향성을 제시하고자 함이다. 선행연구의 분석 결과 고전 텍스트에 대한 접근의 어려움과 이로 인해 학습자의 능동적 참여를 이 끌어내기 어렵다는 문제점이 있었다. 이에 본 연구자는 「고전과 윤 리」도 이러한 문제에 부딪힐 수 있다고 판단하여 이를 예방하기 위한 방안으로 두 가지를 제안하였다. 첫째는 율곡(栗谷)이『격몽요결』에서 제시한 독서의 목적과 방법을 「고전과 윤리」의 고전 텍스트를 읽는 데 적용하는 것이다. 둘째는 수용자를 중심으로 고전 텍스트를 구성하 는 것이다. 수용자 중심으로 구성된 교재를 「고전과 윤리」교과서의 보조교재로 활용함으로써 교수자와 학습자 모두 고전 텍스트에 대한 접근을 용이하게 하고, 이를 통해 능동적인 참여가 가능함을 주장하고자 한다.
Presenting a Direction for the Teaching and Learning of 「Classics and Ethics」 - Reading of classics focused on the recipients and Reorganization of classical texts -
This study presents a direction for the teaching and learning of ‘Classics and Ethics’ by drawing on colleges that have implemented classics education and the practices within the ‘Classics’ subject. An analysis of earlier studies sheds light on the difficulties involved in approaching classical texts and in inducing the learners’ active participation. Hence, this paper suggests two solutions to prevent this. The first is to apply the purpose and method of reading as presented by Yulgok, in his 『Gyeokmongyogyeol』to the reading of classics and classical texts in ethics. The second is to organize classical texts with a focus on the recipient. Using textbooks focused on the recipients as supportive materials can facilitate teachers and learners’ access to classical texts to enable their active participation.
