고교학점제에서의 도덕과 교육의 변화와 교육과정 개정의 방향
이 글에서는 고교학점제 도입으로 인해 예상되는 도덕과 교육의 변 화와 쟁점에 대해 살펴보고, 향후 도덕과 교육과정 개정 과정에서 고 려해야 할 부분과 개정의 방향에 대해 논의하였다. 입시 경쟁 중심 교육에서 벗어나 학생들의 진로 설계와 성장을 지원 하기 위한 교육체제 개편의 일환으로 도입된 고교학점제에서는 학습 집단 편성의 다양화, 도덕·윤리 과목 개설의 다양화, 정성적 평가 방식 의 확대가 예상된다. 때문에 개설 과목 다양화의 방식, 도덕과 선택과목 의 이수 시간, 이수 단위, 이수 기준 결정의 문제가 쟁점화 될 것이다. 이에 따라, 차기 도덕과 교육과정 개정 과정에서는 한 학기 기준 이 수 과목 개발, 문·이과 융합형 내용요소 확대에 주안점을 둘 필요가 있다. 고교학점제로 인하여 예상되는 변화를 분석하고, 그에 대한 선제 적·적극적 대응을 함으로써 도덕과 교육이 학점제 교육체제에 안정적 으로 자리매김할 수 있기를 기대한다.
Changes in Moral Education in High School Credit Systems and Directions for Curriculum Revision
In this article, we reviewed the changes and issues of moral education that are expected due to the introduction of high school credit system. High school credit systems are expected to diversify learning groups, diversify moral subjects, and expand qualitative evaluation. Therefore, diversification of subjects, time of completion of moral and elective subjects, units of completion, and determination of completion criteria will be at issue. Accordingly, the next moral education curriculum revision needs to focus on the development of one semester-based courses and the expansion of content elements of literacy and science. It is expected that morality and education can be stably established in the credit system by analyzing the expected changes due to the high school credit system and taking preemptive and positive responses.
